SPECIFICATION

Here are the detailed specifications for ABS, ASA, and Polycarbonate (PC) filaments. Here are
the detailed specifications for the required ABS, ASA, and Polycarbonate (PC) filaments:
1. ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate): (15 Kg) ? Mechanical & Physical Properties:
o Tensile Strength: Around 40-50 MPa.
o Flexural Modulus: Around 2,200 MPa.
o Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT): Around 88-96°C. This is the temperature
at which the material starts to deform under a specific load.
o UV Resistance: Excellent. This is its primary technical advantage over ABS.
2. PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol-modified):  (10 Kg)  ? Mechanical & Physical Properties:
o Tensile Strength: Around 40-60 MPa. This indicates its resistance to breaking
when pulled.
o Tensile Modulus: Around 1,500 - 2,400 MPa. A higher modulus indicates greater
stiffness.
o Impact Resistance (Charpy Notched): High (e.g., >20 kJ/m²). This is its ability
to absorb energy without breaking, making it tough.
o Density: Approximately 1.27 g/cm³.
3. PC (Polycarbonate): (5 Kg) ? Mechanical & Physical Properties:
o Tensile Strength: High, ranging from 55-72 MPa.
o Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT): Very high, typically 130-140°C at 0.45
MPa. This makes it suitable for high-temperature applications.
o Glass Transition Temperature (Tg): Approximately 150°C.
o Transparency: Naturally transparent, which is a key technical property for certain
Applications.
