- The system should support both human and animal (veterinary) clinical samples.
- It should be capable of rapid and accurate bacterial identification along with automated antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST).
- The system should be able to process a minimum of 30 samples per run / at a time.
- Preference for a system with minimal hands-on time and high throughput, suitable for a routine diagnostic laboratory.
- The system should support a wide range of antibiotics and follow standard guidelines (CLSI/EUCAST).
- Integration with LIS/LIMS and availability of data management and reporting features would be an advantage.
- Availability of local technical support, training, and service support is essential.
