Automotive Air Conditioning System Training Set

SPECIFICATION

Key features
The training set shall be designed to demonstrate the principles, components, and operation of
an automotive air conditioning (A/C) system. Suitable for use in vocational schools, colleges,
and training centers. The system shall be mounted on a mobile frame with lockable wheels for
easy movement. All components must be industrial/automotive grade and comply with current
automotive standards.
The unit shall support both:
Theoretical instruction
Practical training (operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance)
System Configuration
The training set shall include a complete automotive A/C circuit consisting of:
Compressor: Automotive type, belt-driven or electrically driven, with pressure relief protection.
Condenser: Equipped with a cooling fan for heat dissipation.
Receiver/Drier or Accumulator: Provided with a sight glass.
Expansion Device: Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) or Orifice Tube for refrigerant
metering.
Evaporator: With blower fan for air circulation.
Refrigerant Pipes and Hoses: Fitted with proper safety connections.
Control Panel: Includes switches indicators temperature displays and pressure gauges
Measuring and Monitoring Devices
Gauges: High-side and low-side pressure gauges, clearly marked.
Thermometers: Digital or analog type for measuring:-Inlet and outlet air temperature
Refrigerant temperature
Sight Glass: For observing refrigerant flow.
Electrical Meters: For monitoring compressor clutch and blower motor performance.
Safety Features-

  • Pressure relief valves installed in the system
  • Emergency stop switch on control panel
  • Over-current protection for electrical circuits
  • Transparent safety covers for rotating and high-pressure components
