TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION
01. Trolley-mounted hydraulic dynamometer, mobile engine test bed with bench-top instrumentation for investigations into the fundamental features of internal combustion engines.
02. Enables a wide range of investigations into the characteristics of four-stroke/ single-cylinder petrol and diesel engine (basic and small size engine).
03. Providing learning capabilities of
- Measurement of the specific fuel consumption at constant speed and varying power output on an engine;
- Measurement of air-fuel ratio and engine thermal efficiency at constant speed;
- Measurement of the torque - speed and power - speed for an internal combustion engine.
04. The test bed fully compatible with Data Acquisition (DAQ) System that enables accurate real-time data capture, monitoring and display, calculation and charting of all relevant parameters on a computer making tests quick and reliable.
05. The equipment is supplied with small four-stroke, single-cylinder petrol engine.

- Maximum Rpm: 5000 rpm
- Maximum Torque: 25Nm
- The engine includes;
i. An exhaust thermocouple, Half-coupling to link to the test set dynamometer, all essential hoses and fittings.
ii. Color-coded fuel tank with self-sealing couplings, the fuel tank can be removed for filling or for storage.
iii. The engine is mounted on a sturdy precision bed plate which align and locate accurately to the dynamometer test set
