SPECIFICATION

WDM & OTDR setup consists of 28556, 28557, 28558 and 28559. Student can learn Wave length division multiplexers (WDM), OTDR building blocks & construction and measure chromatic dispersion in an optical fiber.  Fiber Optic Passive Component Module (28557) consist of industrial grade passive components like Couplers, Isolators, Attenuators and WDM. Wave length division multiplexers (WDM) are the passive devices that combines light signals with different wave length coming from different fiber, on to single fiber and Single Mode Fiber Optic Cable Module (28558) one can study insight intothe building blocks & construction of an OTDR. Chromatic Dispersion Module (28559) is specially designed to measure chromatic dispersion in an optical fiber. A special purpose fiber is provided for laboratory use to make the study more precise and easy.
