SPECIFICATION
- A self-contained semi-automatic system for transferring, mixing, and dispensing formalin.
- Header tank holding capacity: 50L
- A single speed peristaltic pump operated by rocker switch which transfers formalin to a mixing tank
- A switch operated solenoid valve which adds water to tank, and water filling to be terminated upon release of this switch
- Should have level fill markers indicating 5, 10, 25, & 50 L
- Formalin mixing achieved by agitation provided from addition of water
- Mixed solution to be transferred to overhead tank via a second peristaltic pump
- Overhead tank holding capacity: 50L
- Header tank equipped with a level sensor to prevent overflow
- Formalin fed from overhead tank to outlet tap/s under gravity
- All formalin dispensing equipment housed in a stainless steel cupboard
- Cupboard should be sufficiently ventilated to remove escaping formalin fumes
- Unit should be easy to assemble and should fit a wide range of workstations
- Utility requirement: Electric Power supply: 220V ±10%
- Operating temperature: Temp: +15°C ± 30°C
