Description : Fully Automated, High-throughput & random-access bacterial identification & antibiotic susceptibility system. System able to perform incubation and result-interpretationsimultaneously for identification of Aerobic, fastidious bacteria, Anaerobic bacteria, yeast and fungi. with highest discriminative between species by different Biochemical medias and MIC determination by micro dilution Method 

Technical specification 

  • Throughput : - Identification and Drug Susceptibility test (both ID & AST) less than 12 hours.
  • Method : modification of classical method i.e fermentation ,Oxidation degradation hydrolysis of various Substrates utilizes Chromogenic and Flurogenic substrate as well as Single carbon source 
  • Test card read kinetically : at least every 15 min for optimum time to result or less 
  • Software : - Advanced Software that maintains consistency of Identification and Susceptibility test results. 
  • Database covering : at least 100,000 reference databases with more than 2,000 referenced phenotypes & 20,000 MIC distributions.
  • Capacity : should be at least 120 cards per instrument or equivalent
  • Bacterial Identification : System able to identify or detect all Gram negative Bacilli, Gram positive bacilli gram negative cocci, Staphylococci, Streptococci, Yeast &/or Enterococci. At least 45 and more biochemical chambers
