A bench top base unit for demonstrating conduction heat transfer for different conditions cases.
The water system of the base unit is connected to a convenient supply and drainage of cold water.
It includes a manually operated valve to help provide a controlled water flow and a simple return tube, both of which are color-coded.
The base unit delivers a variable and metered electrical current to the heater on each experiment and operates with a safety switch to prevent the heater from getting too hot.
It includes sockets for thermocouples built into each optional trial.
You can run the tests with or without a connected computer.
It should have the following available units:
- Linear Heat Conduction Experiment
- Radial Heat Conduction Experiment
- Conductivity experiment of liquids and gase
