SPECIFICATION
- Hydride generator should be highly sensitive
- Precision should be 1-2 % RSD at ppb levels and results should achieve using integration of the steady state signal for a few seconds
- Flow Injection should produce transient signals, requiring separate injections for each replicate reading. Each replicate should consume several milliliters of sample to ensure the injection loop is filled
- Sample throughput should be high and results should be achieved in less than 1 minute allowing determination of up to 70 samples/hour
- The integral pump should provide continuous flow conditions with automatic reagent addition
- Stability should be high and the continuous flow conditions should ensure a stable baseline and eliminate varying blank levels
- Sample consumption should be low: < 8 mL per element during analysis
- Cross-contamination should be eliminated - modules should be simply exchanged when switching between elements with conflicting chemistries
- Simple and automatic operation - each sample should be automatically combined with a continuous flow of acid and reagent.
