- Koehler KV5000 or equivalent Kinematic viscosity baths with the optical flow detection system. Should include communication and power ports for each optical detection assembly. Additional positions for manual viscosity measurements should be there, and all positions can be used in the manual mode. The interchangeable Ubbelohde, Fenske, and Reverse Flow viscometer tubes are to be quickly installed and removed from the detection assemblies for cleaning and simple tube changes. Automatic viscosity measurements and results calculation without an external PC. Temperature range: Ambient to 150?C (302?F); sub-ambient to 10?C with external cooling Temperature display: digital with 0.1 ?C/?F resolution, calibrate to 0.01 ?C/?F Conforms to the specifications of: ASTM D445, D2170, D6074, D6158; IP 71, 319; ISO 3104; DIN 51550; FTM 791-305; NF T 60-100 Opaque viscometers for transparent and dark liquids having kinematic viscosities from 0.4 to 8000 cSt should be quoted. Ubbelohde viscometers for transparent liquids having kinematic viscosities from 0.6 to 10000 cSt should be quoted. Ubbelohde dilution viscometers for transparent liquids having intrinsic viscosities from 0.5 to 2500 cSt should be quoted. U-tube viscometers for transparent liquids having intrinsic viscosities from 0.9 to 3000 cSt should be quoted. Required sample holders, bath oil and thermometers are to be supplied. Viscometer cleaning and drying apparatus is to be added Viscosity standards to be supplied for minimum of 5 years Software for viscosity measurements and PC of latest configuration should be added Installation and complete training for 5 faculty members of the department for two days should be included.
