Description
A hotplate magnetic stirrer is a dual-function lab device that simultaneously heats and mixes liquids using a rotating magnetic field, eliminating the need for open flames or manual stirring, making it essential for consistent chemical reactions, cell cultures, and precise research in chemistry, biology, and pharma. It works by spinning a small magnet (stir bar) in a flask via a rotating magnet in the base, while the hotplate provides uniform, controlled heat, saving time and ensuring accuracy. Magnetic stirrer with Hotplate is very stable and economic units which can be used for most stirring with heating applications. Electromagnetic stirrers on the other hand have the advantage that comes with DC motor drive, coupled with son of high quality PTFE stirring, with low power consumption, large spin torque, corrosion resistance and so on. The stirring motion and Heating is extremely precise and responsive to the controller. Also very slow and still smooth stirring motion can be achieved with electromagnetic stirrers, whereas magnetic stirrers would start to stutter at such slow speed. It also comes with Hot plate for heating. With this broad selection we can almost guarantee that you will find the right stirrer for your purpose.
