- Should include the following major components
- Optical breadboard with metric type standard holes
- Laser module with power supply
- Mounted mirrors, translation mount, cube beam splitter
- Optics posts, lens mounts and digital thermometer
- Students should be able to do the following experiments
- Michelson interferometer
- Wavelength measurement and to study how an interferometer can be used as a spectrometer
