DESCRIPTION
MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding machine—technically known as Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) machine—is an arc welding machine that uses a continuous wire electrode fed through a welding gun, which melts and joins metals using an electric arc. A shielding gas, typically argon or a mix of argon and CO?, is also fed through the gun to protect the weld pool from atmospheric contamination.
