SPECIFICATION
- The bend side portion is inserted in the pipe line & the other end is kept open to atmosphere.
- This end may be connected to a sensitive manometer to measure the head in that plane i.e. path of flow.
- A pitot tube made up of small copper tube is held in a pipe line.
- A screw type arrangement is provided to raise or lower this pitot tube. The open end is connected to a manometer.
- Pitot tube is a small 'L' shaped tube, with both end open.
