SPECIFICATION

  • The system (POI) should consist, at least, of the following, necessary components and Instruments, of appropriate technical data
  • Fibers (specially treated plastic product) 
  • Electronic Controls (Modulator - Transmitter - Receiver - Demodulator - and Audio Amplifier with two Speakers)
  • Desktop type KIT Demodulator
  • The intended objective - educational purpose of the system should consist, at least, of the following processes
  • stripping of the fiber (through a special, provided tool)
  • assembly and polishing of the connector
  • measurement of data transfer losses, at different lengths of the fiber (with the corresponding supplied / supplied system) and
  • assembly - arrangement - realization, (setup), of a two-channel data transmission system, of low (preferably) frequency (with the use of the provided accompaniments to the debit system)
  • LED Transmitter - LED Signal Modulator - Receiver Photodetector - Beam Separator
  • data transfer in two wavelengths
  • intersection frequency observation
  • observation of disagreement 
  • Components and instruments (indicative), for the realization of the objective educational goal of the system to be:
  • flat, calibrated rail, approximately 500mm long and 65mm wide
  • LED transmitter regulator, with signal generator, adjustable frequency and receiver width (photodiode) with amplifier and demodulator
  • Coupling POI type Y on carrier ≥40mm with spring mechanism
  • Two special couplings (FSMA), on a 20mm carrier with a spring mechanism. One of the two with adjustment on the X, Y axes
  • In-housing receiver system, with optical light beam modulation, wavelength controller and two photodetectors, on ≥65mm carrier with spring mechanism
  • Three 1000μm POI cables (10m, 20m, 30m), with two connectors (FSMA) each
  • a pair of stereo speakers
  • set of tools for the preparation and assembly of FSMA connectors
  • Cutter, specialist for cutting fiber optics
  • Fiber optic stripper to remove the outer layer of the fiber
  • Fiber optic polishing / polishing disc
  • At least ten (10) fiber polishing membranes, 5μm
  • At least ten (10) fiber polishing membranes, 0.3μm
  • Flat fiber polishing plate
  • Isopropanol
  • FSMA metal plugs, reusable type: ≥10 pcs and fiber optic cable: ≥50m. 
  • Series of required BNC cables and 50Ω adapters (four pieces)
  • The system, WHO, should be able to connect to the transmitter, and other signal sources, such as microphone, CD, etc., and for the measurements to use a 100MHz oscilloscope, which will accompany the system with the following specifications
  • ≥ 2 Channels, ≥ 100 MHz Band, 2 Signals 1 X / 10X
  • Liquid crystal display, type TFT, resolution 800x480px and 8x16 division
