SPECIFICATION

The module must have the following general characteristics:

  • Control software for the experiences that can be carried out with it.
  • Data Acquisition System for real-time monitoring of the electrical variables of the experience.
  • Ability to introduce faults.
  • Include its installation and commissioning of the module.
  • Include usage training.
  • Alternating current: 220v

The module must contain experiences to address the following topics:

  • Rectifiers: Power diode, V-I characteristic, types, Rectifier circuits, types, single-phase, three-phase, DC Filters and AC Filters.
  • Controlled Rectifiers: Thyristor, V-I characteristic, snubber circuits, firing circuit, network synchronization circuit, types of thyristors, controlled rectifier circuits, types, single-phase, three-phase, semi-controlled and fully controlled, operation as power inverter, rectifier circuits with power factor improvements using auto commutated semiconductor switches such as GTO, IGBT, Power MOSFET.
  • AC Voltage Controllers: Structure of the AC controller, type of AC voltage controller circuits, single-phase, semi-controlled three-phase and fully controlled, star and delta connection, with resistive load R and inductive resistive R-L.
  • DC-DC converters: Power bipolar transistor, power MOSFET, Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT), characteristics, activation and protection circuits.
  • Non-Isolated DC-DC converter circuits: voltage buck converter, voltage boost converter, buck-boost converter of inverted and non-inverted polarity voltage, Cúk and SEPIC converter. Isolated DC-DC converter circuits: Flyback and Forward Converter
  • DC-AC Converters: Voltage Source Inverter Circuits (VSI), inverter structure, type, single phase half bridge and full bridge, ac voltage control methods, width modulation
