SPECIFICATION

To be a platform, (size ≥ 170×120mm), stand-alone desktop-type operation, with a Mimic Diagram on the front, facilitating the processes, and General (Universal) learning uses for understanding the various (basic) Principles of Power Electronics.

The Educational Platform should be equipped with experimental assembly boards, for developing own circuits, an integrated AC & DC supply, suitable for the processes of its learning purpose.

The educational learning purpose of the system, through the experimental processes, should be, at least, the following, such as:

  • Characteristics VI of power provisions
  • Firing study of single-phase thyristors
  • Study of single-phase adjustable rectifiers
  • Study of single-phase inverter and DC/DC converter
  • Development circuits and in combination with experiments on the plates
