Use

The Photo Voltaic solar panels installation Kit and I-V curve tracer is to be used for inspection tests of PV systems in accordance with IEC 62446:2016 and IEC 61829:2015.

Description of Kits Elements

The kits contains:

Solar survey irradiance meter

  • The Solar survey irradiance meter is light weight portable and electronic device for connecting wirelessly to the PV module tester and gives real-time irradiance, ambient temperature and PV module temperature measurement results simultaneously to electrical tests being conducted.

  • Results shall be downloadable from the PV module tester into the Solar reporting software included in the kit

Mounting bracket for Solar survey irradiance meter

 

  • The Bracket shall allow connecting the Irradiance Meter to solar panel and positioning it at the same angle as the module for optimum accuracy and ease of measurement.

AC/DC Current clamp

  • The lightweight Solar AC/DC Current Clamp is a compact instrument capable of providing accurate measurements of AC or DC currents in conductors measuring up to 22mm in diameter. Used in conjunction with the PV modules tester.

  • Range: AC and DC currents measurement range is from 0.5A to 40.0A.

Solar PV Reporting Software

shall allow the following:

  • Easy download of measurement data and easy manipulation of data from your PV module tester

  • Display I-V curves, calculate and display the fill factor and performance ratio for each string, and create a performance report.
