The system incorporates a forced-air evaporator and other components include: dual pressure HP/LP switch, electronic thermostat, digital temp read-out showing evaporator core temp., 100mm glycerine filled HP/LP gauges monitoring suction and discharge pressures, thermostatic expansion valve, liquid line hand shut-off valve allowing full system pump-down.

Condensing unit is fitted with high/low side service valves allowing service manifold gauges to be connected.

System is ideal for demonstrating superheat adjustment, refrigerant handling, pressure switch calibration and electrical diagnosis.

System is protected by a circuit breaker and residual current device for additional safety.
