Rotary Evaporator
- A lab evaporator removes solvents from samples through evaporation, often using heat, vacuum, or a gas stream to leave a concentrated residue for further analysis
- Main specification- It should have a digital LCD display for time, speed and temperature and rotating speed range between 10-300 rpm (both clockwise and anticlockwise direction).
- It should have a motor and timer with time setting range of minimum 720 minutes.
- It should have heating temperature range between 20-200 °C, a water bath of minimum 5 liters capacity, a condenser, and necessary glassware accessories like vertical evaporating flask and receiving flask (minimum 1000ml capacity), connector etc.
- USB connector and overheating protection are highly desirable. If overheating protection is not available, then a 1.5-ton air conditioner may be provided as an accessory.
- Optional: It would be better if a vacuum system, to substantially reduce the pressure within the evaporator system, is also provided with the equipment.
