SPECIFICATION
| Standards: Conforms to AASHTO T191-14 (2022) |
| The dimensions mentioned are preferable, other similar dimensions are accepted as per AASHTO T191-14 (2022). |
| The device set shall include the following: |
| 4-L (1-gal) jar |
| Attachable appliance to the jar with an orifice of 12.7 mm (1/2 in.) |
| in diameter with a small funnel that can be attached to a standard G mason Jar on one end, and to a large 6.5 inch diameter funnel on the other. |
| The orifice should be equipped with stops to prevent it from completely closing and opening. |
| The set should include a base plate made from rigid metal material having a flanged centre hole appropriately sized to receive the large funnel. |
| Calibration Container that is both sturdy and of known volume having an internal diameter equal or slightly less than that of the base plate provided. Such mould specified in AASHTO T-99 and T-180 are considered suitable. |
