- To determine the elastic modulus and beam deflection.
- To study on continuous beams with various loadings.
- The apparatus consists:
- an upper cross member carrying graduated scales and two lower members bolted to tee-legs.
- 3 load cells and cantilever support pillar slide.
- distance between supports should be adjustable.
- 4 weight hangers and set of weights: 1 kg - 10 units
- 3 dial gauges (metric unit).
- "Standard" test specimen beams of round, square, tube, tee and I-sections at least 3 different materials each.
