Application:
The Shoelace Abrasion Tester is designed to test the abrasion resistance of shoelaces against standard eyelets or eyelets against standard shoelaces. It is suitable for testing a wide range of shoelaces and eyelets to assess their durability under repeated friction.

Features:

  • The shoelace is passed through the eyelet, which is clamped onto a fiber board.

  • The shoelace and eyelet are positioned at a 90-degree angle, while the fiber board and shoelace form a 45-degree angle.

  • The tester applies reciprocating tension on the shoelace under standard conditions provided by the eyelet.

  • Testing automatically stops when the shoelace shows visible damage.
