Stability of floating bodies
- A flat bottomed semi-circular ship model of size 25 x 20 x 20 cm.
- A tank of size 50 x 50 x 30 cm fitted with piezometer tube to measure the level of water.
- Transparent sheet is provided on the front of tank.
- A pointer to measure the angle of heel upto +/- 15°.
- A cross bar arrangement with the provision of angling movable weights known distance from the vertical axis through C.G.
- Additional five hanging weights (50 gm. each) are provided.
