Ultra Low Temperature Deep Freezers  ( Vertical) 

1. A –86°C ultra-low temperature freezer is used for the long-term or indefinite preservation of biological and pharmaceutical samples, including nucleic acids (DNA/RNA), where maintaining the molecular and structural integrity of specimens is essential

2. Upright Model: CFC free high efficiency double refrigeration system for cooling and freezing filled in the bottom

3. Temperature: 00 C-860 C + - 0.50 C (to work in -70 to -86 0 C range)

4. Freezers should have an automated vent port for quick re?access to samples as part of the eye

5. level display / advanced interface and also compressor fan air filter conveniently located on the front panel for ease of access.

6. System should have dedicated alarm and backup system for 24/7 sample safety.

7. System should have programmable operating temperature from –50 °C up to –86°C with 1°C increment at 32 °C maximum ambient operating temperature.

8. System should be highly energy efficient, with energy consumption around 8.3 KWh/day.

9. Insulation should be of advanced Polyurethane Foam (PUF) to maintain highest heat insulation.

10. System Exterior should be made up of powder coated Steel to resist scratch and rust and the interior should be of Polished Stainless-Steel grade 304 2B for easy cleaning and to eliminate potential for oxidation.

11. At least 5 Inner doors should have tight sealing to prevent temperature loss and Outer door should have reinforced tight sealing.

12. Ambient (20 °C +/- 1°C) to -80 °C Pull down time should be 3 hrs 38 min or lesser; with freezer being maintained empty.

13. Warm up time (freezer 2/3 full, from -85 °C to 0 °C) of at least 36 hrs or longer; 8 hrs for Warm up from -85 °C to -50 °C, freezer 2/3 full or longer.

14. System should have Noise level (at -80 °C) 51.5 dB or lesser.

15. Freezer must have battery back-up and user password protection security ((tobe shared with and handled by the user) for unauthorized tampering of freezer settings.

16. Audible and visible alarms for temperature, power failure, system failure, battery low etc., and it also have remote alarm port for connection to an auto dialler (optional)

17. Supply voltage: 230 ± 10 V, AC, 50/60 Hz. Voltage and plugs to be adapted to meet the country’s requirements. The line cord / Power cord supplied with the equipment shall be of acceptable durability, length, and current carrying capacity complying with Indian Standards.

18. Power consumption: Approximately 150 W.
