SPECIFICATION

Gasoline Engine Simulator

  1. The equipment shall be a fully operational gasoline engine training simulator intended for automotive diagnosis, testing, and technical education.
  2. The unit shall be based on a real automotive gasoline engine system or equivalent educational engine system suitable for practical demonstration and troubleshooting.

Specifications

  1. Minimum Technical Configuration
  2. The simulator must include at minimum:
  3. 4-cylinder gasoline engine
  4. Engine displacement 1.6 L to 2.0 L Electronic engine management system Engine control unit (ECU)
  5. Fuel injection system Ignition system Cooling system Intake system Exhaust system
  6. Battery and charging circuit
  7. Fuel reservoir or equivalent training fuel supply arrangement Diagnostic connector
  8. Instrument display / engine status indication
  9. Accessible measuring terminals

Training Functions

  1. The simulator must allow training on at minimum: Engine starting and running
  2. Fuel injection system operation Ignition system operation Cooling system operation Battery and charging circuit
  3. Electronic control unit inputs and outputs Sensor and actuator testing
  4. Diagnostic trouble code reading and system diagnosis Electrical signal measurement
  5. Pressure / vacuum measurements where applicable
  6. Control Panel and Modules
  7. The system must include a labeled control panel incorporating training access to, at minimum: Operation module
  8. Fault simulation module Camshaft position sensor Crankshaft position sensor
  9. Engine coolant temperature sensor Battery terminals
  10. Ignition signals Injector signals
  11. Throttle valve / throttle position function Air flow and intake air temperature sensing Accelerator pedal sensor or equivalent Fuel level sensing
  12. Fuel pump function

Fault Simulation and Diagnosis

  1. The simulator must include fault insertion capability for key engine management sensors and actuators.
  2. The fault simulation system must permit diagnosis using onboard diagnostics, measurement tools, or equivalent training methods.

Safety and Construction Requirements

  1. Mounted on a robust mobile frame or stand Components arranged for safe observation and access Protective guards for hot and moving parts Emergency stop button
  2. Fire extinguisher suitable for the training environment Corrosion-resistant structure

Accessories and Documentation

  1. The equipment must be supplied with: User manual
  2. Training manual
  3. Wiring diagram / schematic diagram
  4. Installation and Training
  5. The supplier must provide:
  6. Delivery, installation, and commissioning Functional testing at site
  7. User training on operation and use
