- Sodium Hexametaphosphate: is dry powder dispersion agent used in mixing soil sample solutions.
- Dispersion cup: for soil dispersion mixer with capacity of 1 L borosilicate dispersion cup to hold soil samples for testing.
- Soil dispersion mixer: thoroughly mixes soil samples with mixing blade.
- Sedimentation cylinder or hydrometer jar: borosilicate glass 1000 mL capacity with leveled neck and clear graduations
- Constant temperature in hydrometer testing
- Hydrometer 151H from 0.995 to 1.038g/ml or 152H from -5 to 6g/l
- Thermometer 0 to 50C
- Stirrer with cup and baffle, operated stirring apparatus consisting of an electric motor suitably mounted to turn a vertical shaft at speed not less than 10000 revolutions/min without load speed
- Sodium hexametaphosphate: reagent grade 1000g bottle or (pre-weighed sachets)
- Beaker 250ml and Container.
- Glass rod for stirring the sample mixture. (Glass stirring rod (300mm)
