Incubator shaker

  1. An incubator shaker incubates and agitates samples at a controlled temperature and shaking speed to promote the growth of microorganisms or cells. 
  2. Its main use is to provide a stable environment with consistent aeration and mixing, which is critical for applications like growing bacterial and cell cultures, and for performing molecular biology tasks. 
  3. The shaking action ensures uniform distribution of nutrients and oxygen while preventing the clumping of cells or particles.
  4. Main Specifications- Heavy-duty refrigerated incubator shaker with preferably glide-up door.

  5. Should be stackable up to 3, all should be operated and controlled separately

  6. Temperature range: 20oC below ambient to + 70oC (minimum 4oC);

  7. control: ± 0.1oC at 37oC,

  8. Uniformity: ± 0.25oC.

  9. RPM range: 25 to 400 rpm with 5.1cm orbit with accuracy of ±1 rpm.

  10. LCD display clearly shows operating parameters and actual value.

  11. Displayed parameters can be selected by user.

  12. Single knob selects all operating conditions easily and quickly.

  13. Large built in viewing window and internal light provide clear chamber visibility

  14. Should have triple-eccentric counter balanced drive / Magnetic drive driven by solid state brushless DC motor.

  15. Compressor uses CFC-free refrigerant

  16. Indicate when speed deviates more than 10 rpm or temperature more than 1.5°C from set point, and when program or time has finished.

  17. Alarm may be muted

  18. Fitted with mechanical and electronic safety devices Sensors limit speed when shaker is unbalanced, stops shaker when excess vibration is detected or door opened, and shuts off temperature when high-temp. limit is exceeded

  19. Ambient temperature condition: 10oC to + 35oC.

  20. Timer; 0.1 to 99.9 hours and continuous.

  21. Set points and operating status retained by non-volatile memory. Automatic restart after power is restored.

  22. Capacity: Machine should be capable of holding minimum flasks: - 80 no. of 50 ml/30 no. of 90/125 ml, 25 no. of 250 ml, 22 no. of 500 ml, 12 no. of 1 L, 6 no. of 2 L, 5 no. of 2.8/3 L, 4 no. of 4 L or 4 no. of 5 L.

  23. Size of shaking platform: at-least 75 x 45 cm.

  24. Each Shaker to be supplied with Sticky pad platform and 6 sticky pads. Racks and other accessories to be quoted as optional

  25. Sturdy base and stacking kit for stacking 3 shakers together.

  26. Slide out platform for easy access to all the samples on run

  27. Multi-Function Reservoir humidifies chamber to reduce sample evaporation and protect unit from spills

  28. Built-in pluggable drain facilitates clean up.

  29. Pull out and front access service module allows access to all electronic and heating/cooling components, without having un-stack the units.
