55774 Experimental Set-Up has been designed specifically to determine the Magnifying Power of Telescope by slit method using Microscope. The set-up consists of Telescope,Traveling Microscope etc.
The set-up is complete in all respect and requires no other apparatus. Practical experience on this set-up carries great educative value for Science and Engineering Students.

  1. To determine the Magnifying Power of Telescope by slit method using a Microscope.
 
FEATURES
The complete Experimental Set-up consists of the followings :
  1. A Telescope : Designed for general laboratory work. The telescope is mounted on robust steel pillar 18” long fitted on heavy metal base with leveling screws with the help of two micrometer screws the Telescope can be precisely positioned in the vertical or Horizontal planes. It is fitted with achromatic objective and is focussed by rack and pinion arrangement. It has a focal rangefrom 0 to infinity.
  2. Traveling Microscope : T shape model with horizontal and vertical scales. The base is fitted with two leveling screws. Horizontal scale is 20cm and vertical scale is 15cm long with vernier constant 0.01 mm. The microscope is provided with rack and  pinon. Amilky white perspex platform is provided on the horizontal bed.
  3. Slit : Adjustable height.
  4. Lamp House : Lamp house 100W with heavy duty stand .
  5. Weight : 11 Kg. (Approx.)
