SPECIFICATION
- To verify the Malus law (Cosine square law) for plane polarised light with the help of a photo voltaic cell.
- Optical Bench : Two 100 cm long steel rods 1/2” dia. forming a bench with end supports having levelling screws. One of the two steel rods is graduated in cm and mm. It has five riders, three with transverse motion. Complete with one lens holder.
- Halogen Lamp with house.
- Double convex lens (50mm dia & F.L.10cm).
- Polariser and Analyzer fitted at the ends of a metallic tube. Both are capable of rotation about a common axis. The rotation can be read on a graduated circular scale 360° provided with each of them.
- Photo voltaic cell house in colorimeter.
- Microammeter having 0 – 50uArange.
- Weight : 7.2 Kg. (Approx.)
