The Universal Governor Apparatus is a motorized laboratory test rig designed to demonstrate
the operational principles of various centrifugal governors, including Watt, Porter, Proell, and
Hartnell types. It measures speed, sleeve lift, and controlling force to analyze governor
sensitivity, stability, and speed regulation under varying loads

- To observe the effect of varying sleeve weight or spring force on the operation of a governor
