36149 Experimental Training Board has been designed specifically for the study of the Characteristics of Vacuum Diode. The board is absolutely self contained and requires no other apparatus.

Practical experience on this board carries great educative value for Science and Engineering Students.

Object:

1. To draw the plate voltage V/s plate current curve for different values of filament voltages.
2. To determine the plate resistance from the characteristics thus obtained.

1. 0-300V D.C. at 100mA ,regulated Power Supply for plate voltage.
2. 2V, 3V, 4V, 5V and 6.3VA.C. at 600mA, power supply for filament selectable by switch.
3. D.C. Voltmeter, 65mm rectangular dial with switch selectable ranges of 30V and 300V.
4. D.C. Milliammeter, 65mm rectangular dial to read 0-100mA.
5. A valve with base fixed on panel and wired internally.
6. Mains ON/OFF switch, Fuse and Jewel light.
