17901 Component Testers are useful for testing of a large variety of components in a very short time duration. Details of Individual Testers are as follows:

01     Crystaltester :
    Indication: 
    For good crystal Indicator LED will glow but for bad crystal it will not glow.

Features:
01    Designed to test any type of crystal of  frequency 1MHz to 1000 MHZ.
02    2mm Socket for Crystal & 2mm Banana pin with Three Crocodile clips are provided.

02     DIODE Tester
    Indication: Two LED's are provided showing: Open Diode - If both LED's are OFF. Short Diode - If both LED's are ON. Good Diode - If one LED glows. Leaky Diode - If one glows fully & other dim.

Features:
01     Indicates whether diode is open circuit, short circuit & if working, its polarity 
02     Silicon & Germanium, both types of diodes can be tested.

03     F.E.T. Tester
    Indication: For good FET, the meter reading vary continuously between a maximum position to a minimum position. For a bad FET, either there is no response in the meter or it holds at one point.

04     Voltage Regulator Tester For 78/79 Series
    Indication: For good regulator, O/Pvoltage will be as specified

01     0-30V variable D.C. Power supply provided for input to regulator.
02     A Voltmeter is provided with mode selected by band Switch.
03     I.C. sockets & 2mm sockets for voltage Regulator & 2mm Banana Pin with Three crocodile clips are provided.

05     LED Tester
    Indication: Two LED's are provided showing: Open LED - If both LED's are OFF. Short LED - If both LED's are ON. Good LED - If one LED glows.

06     Transistor Tester :
    Indication: For good NPN Transistor Green LED will glow and for bad Transistor LED will not glow.
    For good PNP Transistor Red LED will glow and for bad Transistor LED will not glow.

07     U.J.T. Tester:
    Indication: For good U.J.T. LED will glow and for bad not glow.

08     IC-555 Timer Tester
    Indication: Two LED's are provided showing: I.C. good - if LED's flash ON & OFF. I.C. bad - if only one LED glows.

Features:
01     Test frequency is 0.5 Hz.
02     Two IC bases are provided one round & other flat.

09     SCR And Triac Tester
    Indication: Mode switch to D.C. position : With good specimen under test, on pressing the push button, the indicating lamp lights on continuously. For leaky specimen the light will be partially glowing even without pressing the push button. For a short & bad specimen the light will be glowing fully even without pressing the switch. 2. Mode switch to A.C. position: In this case the glow of lamp will be half on test, by pressing the push button.

10     Op/amp Tester (741 And Equivalent Pin Connection )

11     Photo Transistor

12     Zener Diode Tester:
    Indication: Zener voltage indication by Voltmeter.
