Set up required to determine the armature and field resistance of DC Machine and open circuit characteristics (occ) of DC generator.

Each set will consist of following:

  1. Power input with red power indicator(22mm), Digital Tacho-meter.
  2. SCR based DC variable power supply (2Nos.): 230V AC input, output 0-195VDC,5-amp, Full bridge SCR based, cosine firing with linear characteristics for armature,motor field and Alternator/generator field.
  3. DC Voltmeter and Ammeter panel: Volt meter: 0-300 V DC (72x72mm)- 2Nos.
  4. Ammeter: 1A(72X72mm) & 0-5 amp- 1 each polarity protection diode, Circuit
  5. Breaker for Over load Protection, field failure Relay to control Armature.
  6. Single phase power supply Panel: MCB 230 Volt AC 50Hz, 1pole/6A (3Nos.),
  7. 1pole/10A (1No.),
  8. Output Terminals: 230 Volt, 6Amp (3Nos.) & 10 Amp (1No.), Red power
  9. Indicator (22mm), Lamp Holder.
  10. Single Phase AC/DC Resistive (R) Load Panel, Selector switch:2 pole,7way, 10 Amp/440V
  11. Resistors:750E-600E-300E-212E-162E-100E-OFF, 400W/7 steps
