SPECIFICATION

55814 Experimental Set-Up has been designed specifically to determine the Refractive Index of liquids (Water, Paraffin Oil, Glycerol, Kerosene, Benzene etc.) in the form of prism by using Laser and it's detector. The set-up consists of Circular table, Helium Laser, Hollow Prism, Laser Detector, Digital Milliammeter, Reading lens and Spirit Level.
The set-up is complete in all respect and requires no other apparatus. Practical experience on this set-up carries great educative value for Science and Engineering Students.

OBJECT
  1. Determination of refractive index of liquids (Water, Paraffin Oil, Glycerol, Kerosene, Benzene etc.) using Laser.
