The complete experiment setup consists of the following: -
  1. OPTICAL BENCH : 100cm long steel rods ½” dia forming a bench with and supports having leveling screws. One of the two steel rods is graduated. It has four riders two with transverse motion & two fixed Holders.
  2. DIODE LASER WITH POWER SUPPLY.
    • Maximum output : 1 mW
    • Wave length : 670 nm visible red
    • Power supply : Included with ON/OFF switch working on 230V mains supply.
  3. KNIFE-EDGE : Knife-edge mounted on a micro-positioner (Accuracy in 10m m)
  4. DOUBLE CONVEX LENS : 50mm FL 10cm with lens holder
  5. LASER DETECTOR : Composition silicon Laser detector mounted in case.
  6. DIGITAL METER : Digital panel meter 3½ digit 199.9 Millivolt DC
