Experimental Training Board has been designed specifically to study eight different types of circuits for single level and two level clipping for an input sine wave signal.
Practical experience on this board carries great educative value for Science and Engineering Students.

Object: To study diode clipping circuits.
  1. Single level clipping circuits :
    1. Positive base clipping with diode in series.
    2. Positive base clipping with diode in shunt.
    3. Negative base clipping with diode in series.
    4. Negative base clipping with diode in shunt.
    5. Negative peak clipping.
    6. Positive peak clipping.
  2. Two level clipping circuits :
    1. Two level clipping with diodes.
    2. Two level clipping with zener diodes.

Features:
The board consists of following built-in parts :
  1. Two, 0-10V D.C. at 10mA, continuously variable Power Supplies.
  2. 0-12V, A.C. 50Hz at 20mA, continuously variable Power Supply.
  3. D.C. Voltmeter, 65mm rectangular dial to read 0-10V.
  4. Two silicon diodes.
  5. Two zener diodes.
  6. Adequate no. of other electronic components.
  7. Mains ON/OFF switch, Fuse and Jewel light.
  8. The unit is operative on 230V ±10% at 50Hz A.C. Mains.
  9. Adequate no. of patch cords stackable from rear both ends 4mm spring loaded plug length ½ metre.
  10. Good Quality, reliable terminal/sockets are provided at appropriate places on panel for connections/ observation of waveforms.
  11. Strongly supported by detailed Operating Instructions, giving details of Object, Theory, Design procedures, Report Suggestions and Book References.
